The Science and Innovation Section of the Embassy is part of the UK government's global Science & Innovation Network (SIN), represented at diplomatic posts in over 20 countries. Within Europe, SIN focuses primarily on science policy issues and on facilitating collaboration and innovation

 

SIN Germany follows key science and innovation policy developments and works with UK stakeholders, local German partners and SIN colleagues elsewhere in Europe on targeted activities, designed to facilitate science and business collaboration, and the exchange of best practice.

We produce a series of Factsheets and Information Notes about developments in German science and innovation policy and programmes, including funding programmes and research infrastructure in Germany.

We regularly publish English-language information about UK science and innovation policies and programmes.
