Success in Copenhagen essential

On 2 October, Sir Michael Arthur, British Ambassador to Germany, stressed in an interview to Deutschlandfunk the importance of a successful outcome for the UN Conference in Copenhagen in December 2009. He said:

"We must find agreement on a follow-up to the Kyoto Protocol. We Europeans have a leading role to play and have shown this, but we can't do it alone"
